21 Savage's immigration status is still in limbo.
Over three years after Savage was picked up by ICE and revealed to be a British citizen illegally living in the United States he still hasn't had a chance to sort out his immigration issues.
That's because his federal immigration case can't move forward until he resolves a criminal case in DeKalb county. When Savage was arrested in 2019 during Super Bowl week in Atlanta he was found with a handgun in his car and allegedly threw a bottle of codeine out of the window.
However, he wasn't even charged in that case until this January and has yet to have a day in court.
Savage is allowed to travel domestically (he will be doing Coachella) but can't leave the country and get back in. He could still end up being deported, depending on what happens in DeKalb, and then what happens in federal court.
Would you be sad to see him go?
