Donald Trump tried his best to free A$AP Rocky, both on Twitter and behind the scenes.
Rocky is back home now, after spending a month in a Swedish jail for a street fight that resulted in minor injuries, and doesn't look like will end in a guilty verdict. (Although we won't know that for a couple of more weeks.)
Trump's push probably hurt A$AP more than it helped him, as the reality-TV-star-turned-world-leader is highly unpopular in Europe. Still, it was notable because you'd think a president would have better things to do.
It's been well-established that Trump intervened on A$AP's behalf because he was asked to by Kim Kardashian. 50 Cent thinks he knows why Trump listens to what Kim says.
“Look at the Kardashian relationship [with Trump]," 50 told The Daily Beast. "Look at how far the social reach is there. Between Kim, Khloe and the other girls, it’s like 400 million people following them all online. Think about it!” he exclaims. “Just having them be supportive of what you’re doing is giving a whole lot of people the thought of, well, they are doing this. That’s a lot of influence and reach.”
