50 Cent's issues with Oprah Winfrey go back years.
In his upcoming book Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter Fif details a society event in 2012 in which Oprah's BFF Gayle King confronted him for his Winfrey hate.
"Gayle is the real deal — a very sophisticated, secure, and smart lady. She’s never afraid of a situation … so she marched right up to me and basically said, ‘Why you talkin’ s–t about my girl?’” he recalls.
50 explained to King that he some times he just beefs with celebrities for the sport of it.
“Listen, I’d love to be Oprah’s friend,” he said he told King. “But if we can’t be friends, could we at least be enemies? But when I said, ‘At least let me be an enemy,’ they understood that when I got into a beef, it was never driven by emotion. Instead, I was moving off of strategy.”
King arranged a meeting between Fif and Oprah, and they were briefly friends.
However, the detente didn't last and recently 50 trashed both Oprah and Gayle over their #MeToo tactics, which Fif believes overly targets black man.
