50 Cent is more of a TV producer than a rapper these days.

He has a history of putting Hip Hop figures in his shows. For example, Mary J. Blige and Method Man were in the latest season of Power.

However, one doesn't get cast on a 50 show just because they've had success behind the mic.

According to the 45-year old, a couple of high-profile rappers came in for table reads for his new Black Mafia Family show BMF but didn't get cast.

“Quavo … he read for one of the characters in BMF; Casanova read for the Omar character in BMF,"he told HipHopDX.

It's a good thing Cas didn't get the part because he's going to be otherwise occupied for a while.
