50 Cent Speaks On TIDAL Artists Not Owning Their Music

Leave it to 50 Cent to provide honest answers to what's going on in the industry. In an interview with Real 92.3, Fif shared his views on the current state of Jay Z's TIDAL streaming music service, and what he would've done differently.

"Probably could’ve did something more exciting if they reached out," 50 said. "Because the people you saw there don’t even own the rights to their own music. So they can’t say it's gonna come out TIDAL."
50's point about ownership is well taken. There was a recent report suggesting Jay Z and TIDAL may actually lose the rights to Beyonce's music, which Hov's wife doesn't own.
