50 Cent To Trademark "Get The Strap"

50 Cent has been signing off from all of his Instagram posts with his catchphrase "Get the strap" for a minute now

In doing so, he's expanded the phrase's meaning from time to get a gun to just about anything.

Last week, 50 Cent filed for a trademark on "Get the strap."

It wasn't the only legal activity on the 50 front. Teairra Mari is now suing 50 for posting an explicit image of her leaked porn video co-starring her ex Akbar Abdul-Ahad on his IG page.

“Mari alleges that this post was designed to publicly humiliate her after she had broken up with [Abdul-Ahad],” Mari's lawyer Lisa Bloom said in a statement. "50 Cent, who appears to be a close friend of Mr. Abdul-Ahad, immediately reposted one of the explicit images to his 18 million followers, with the caption, ‘get the strap.'”

Get the strap, we guess.
