Eminem Just Gave Proof's Son, Who's A Rapper, A Major Co-Sign

The rapper Nasaan, who's the son of the late Detroit MC Proof, just got a major co-sign from Eminem.

Nasaan is now a contestant in a Fresh Empire contest, and Em told all of his Instagram followers to support him. He also put the young spitter's music in his Instagram bio.

Em and Proof were best friends, and Proof is often given credit for encouraging Em to pursue his music. In fact, Mekhi Phifer's character Future in the film 8 Mile was loosely based on the D12 member.

In 2006, Proof was shot and killed during an altercation at the CCC nightclub in Detroit.
