It was announced last week that A$AP Rocky wouldn't be able to perform in the Swedish prison where he was being kept earlier this year.
Rocky was jailed for a month in Stockholm's Kronoberg prison over the summer after having a street fight with some locals. In November, the rapper said he'd like to give a show there, even though he was doubtful it would be allowed.
He was right because Sweden’s Prison and Probation Service ruled the show couldn't be put on because of logistical and security reasons. Rocky addressed the decision on social media and said despite the ruling he still wants to give back to the prisoners in Sweden.
"Even when I'm denied access to donate or perform for the inmates in Sweden, I still want to raise awareness for the immigrants and poor ppl of outside surrounding areas," wrote the Harlem rapper. "This has been a difficult journey, but I feel it's my task to give back to ppl who supported me when I was down."
