A$AP Rocky Speaks On Getting Hit With An Attempted Murder Charge

A$AP Rocky's Swedish debacle was only the second most harrowing legal experience of his life.

On an upcoming episode of Angie Martinez's Untold Stories of Hip-Hop, Rocky elaborates on the incident when he was 16 that led to him spending a bit of time in New York's notorious Rikers Island. 

He was selling drugs, and an older bully tried to knock him off his spot.

"He tried to come at me in front of some ladies. I was little. He was older than me," Rocky explained.

Rocky and his cousin then went looking for the bully. Rocky brought a gun just in case, but they were just planning on talking to him. However, things went left and A$AP ended up firing on the man because he thought he was reaching for his gun.

He was first charged with attempted murder. Luckily for Rocky, the charges kept getting knocked down and he only ended up spending a couple of weeks locked up on Rikers. That experience did produce this legendary quote:
