It was reported that Aaron Hernandez led a secret life and hid his bixsexuality. Kyle Kennedy was said to be to his gay lover in prison, and there were letters found that seemed to back up that claim. A former high school teammate and one of his lawyers also confirmed he had relationships with men.
Hernandez's name is now back in the headlines due to the Netflix docuseries that's now out and addresses his sexuality.
Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez, Hernandez's fiancee, recently sat down with Good Morning America and said the former Patriot never told her he was gay or bisexual.

"If he did feel that way, or if he felt the urge... I wish that I was told," she said "I wish that he would have told me, 'cause I would not have loved him any differently. I would have understood. It's not shameful. I don't think anybody should feel shameful for who they are inside, regardless of who they love ... You can't describe someone's sexuality without them being there."
