If you live long enough, you'll come to realize life comes at you pretty fast.

Focus, who was signed to Aftermath, produced six tracks on Dr. Dre's 2015 Gold album Compton.

The New York-born producer's resume also includes two Grammys and tracks for Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, John Legend, The Game, Ice Cube, Busta Rhymes, Fabolous, 50 Cent, Schoolboy Q, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé and Lil Wayne.

Today, Focus jumped on Instagram and announced he has taken a job at UPS because the music was no longer paying the bills.

Life can change in an instant!!! I went through a rough transitional season and music wasn't paying the bills. I could've sat and let everything fall apart but, I chose to do what needed to be done at that moment and Jehovah blessed my efforts. I worked with one of the coolest cats I have ever met @qhambrick (best boss ever) and this job helped me realize a lot about myself. I am willing and able to take care of my family by any means necessary and I am always open to learn new things. True, my plan A was, and is my only plan BUT, when unforseen situations arise, will you sit and sulk in depression or be malleable and use the experiences to help you build a more fortified foundation? These are my reminders... I am not ashamed... Much love, people #motivated #willingspirit #soundwithoutfocusisjustnoise #reallife #blessings #brownandyellow

What do you think of Focus owning up to hitting a speed bump?

On the bright side, it's not like his musical career is completely dead. He'll be over in Europe this week to teach a class on production.

@newskoolrules x @iamee2 are bringing me out to #France and #Roterdam to give some inside scoops to up and coming 'creatives' Sept. 27- Oct. 3... This is going to be amazing. See you soon!!! #soundwithoutfocusisjustnoise
