DJ Akademiks was one of the first to report that Bronx drill rapper Kay Flock had been charged with second-degree murder after snuffing out an opp in a Harlem barbershop.
Ak's report was simply based on the police report, which painted Flock as the aggressor and led to the murder charge. However, surveillance video released the next day suggested Flock wasn't the aggressor and could have a case for self-defense.
Video director Spike Tarintino, who worked with Kay, called out Ak for spreading misinformation.
Ak clapped back at Spike, saying he was part of the problem.
“You were shooting videos for n*ggas who were dissin’ other n*ggas who if they saw each other, something was gonna happen. You’re not doing nothing positive, buddy," Ak said to spike.
Does either one have a point?
