Akon Cracks Everyone Up Explaining Eminem's Studio Process

Musicians love to brag about their marathon studio sessions.

Not Eminem.

Akon was on Ebro In The Morning, and he spoke on the studio session for his Shady featured hit "Smack That."

According to Akon, Eminem treats the studio as a regular job. He arrives at 9 AM sharp, leaves at 5 PM sharp and takes an hour lunch break in between.

Akon asked Em about his regimented approach and this is what he said.

"I treat it like a real job. I don't make it no more than it's supposed to be. I don't allow it to stress me out. I don't stay longer than I have to. I got a family. I got a daughter I want to spend time with. I want to make time," Akon said Em said. 

According to Akon, that changed his own thinking on the studio.

"And a stopped, and I was like "damn, you know what, you right. Sometimes I be in the studio three or four days, don't come out ... and I'm sitting here like, that makes a lot of sense, ain't nothing going to change between today and tomorrow."
