In a recent interview, Jim Jones revealed that The Game was plotting to turn against 50 Cent from the day he was signed to G-Unit.
"[The Game] was telling me, 'Oh they about to sign me to G-Unit, you dig? But soon as they sign me and I get platinum and all that, I'm doing what 50 did to Ja,'" Jones revealed.
Akon also has inside information on the relationship between Game and 50.
In an interview with HipHopDX, he remembered asking 50 if he could offer a song to Game when Fif and Game were beefing. 50 made it clear that he only wanted the best for Game, even if things weren't good between the two of them.
"At the time him and Game was going through some issues," Akon explained. "Me and Game got a pretty good relationship. And Game needed some records from me. So I got this crazy record that I had for Game. But I felt it would only be right if I reached out to 50 first. Because it wouldn't make sense for him and 50 to be going though what they be going through and me and 50 having a relationship -- and also having a relationship with Game -- but just ignoring what they're going through and just go do that. So I reached out to Fif, played him the record and said I want to do this for him, I just want your blessing on it. And 50 was straight up like, 'I always want it good for the kid.'"
Akon continued to say that while 50 appreciated Akon coming to him first, he had no qualms about Game getting a track.
If you're wondering what track it is ... Akon explained it never got released. But he has it and may drop it one day.
