For years now, André 3000 said that his days of being in OutKast with Big Boi are behind him, and he's done being a rapper.
But he took a different stance while promoting his all flute album New Blue Sun during an interview with CBS Mornings. [Jump to the 16:27 mark]
"I’m sure, like, I want another OutKast album," Andre admitted. "Yeah, like, in my mind but see, that's the thing, that’s the human side. I want an OutKast album a long time ago ... And honestly for me as an individual, it would be gratifying to me to put out a solo rap situation."
"But not for nobody else at this point," he specified. "It’s for me because I actually like the challenge of, 'How could I make this part of my life interesting and rhyme in words?' ... Like, how can I do that? So yeah, it's still a challenge, so I think hopefully with will and intent, something will happen."
While some have said positive things about New Blue Sun, others like The Lox's Sheek Louch said that 3 Stacks never should've stopped rapping.
So, do you think we'll ever see another OutKast album?
