Ashanti Blasts Nelly When He's Down

Nelly could use a famous female friend right about now. But his ex Ashanti isn't willing to play that role. 

Last year, Nelly was accused of raping a 21-year old Monique Green, and earlier this year two more women came forward and accused Nelly of sexual misconduct.

Nelly has denied all the charges against him. But when his ex-girlfriend Ashanti was asked about them a few months ago she wouldn't back him up. "Say less," she told TMZ's cameraman.

She continued to disparage Nelly during a recent show.

"See I just wanna make sure ya'll understand exactly what I'm saying," Ashanti tells the crowd. "Cuz I've been betrayed before, publicly at that."

An attendee in the audience then yells "fuck Nelly." Which resulted in Ashanti pointing at the yeller and responding "word."
