For a while there, Irv Gotti was talking about Ashanti everyday. Like in August on Drink Champs when he spoke about making a move on her, even though she was one of his Murder Inc. artist.
Ashanti seemed to respond on the remix to Diddy's “Gotta Move On," featuring Bryson Tiller and Yung Miami. She then got more into the Irv situation during a new interview with Angie Martinez.
"It wasn't surprising to me," said Ashanti. "Irv has flat-out lied about a lot of things."
She spoke about her lyrics on "Gotta Move On" as well.
“I think it was just perfect timing,"the R&B star explained. "There was a lot of stuff going on with me and a lot of controversy happening. Some people don’t know how to move on. So, I felt like this was an opportunity to tell people to move on."
Not too long ago, Irv said that he'd no longer be talking about Ashanti but it's possible that'll change after her interview.
