Belly Says He's Been Depressed, Lost His Confidence & Gained Weight

Belly had a really nice buzz going for himself a few years ago, but his momentum has slowed since then. One of the last times the Canadian artist made headlines is when he was beat up by about 20 guards at Coachella in 2018.

Belly recently took to Instagram and explained what's been going on with him over the past couple of years.  He admitted to being depressed, losing his confidence and battling weight gain.

The last couple years have been fucked up for me in almost every way. I’ve been in and out of therapy for over a year(depression, PTSD). I gotta do physical therapy twice a week (back/neck injuries) and I can’t even tour or travel too much. I got put on anti-depressants (I’m off now) lost my confidence & regained most of the weight that I lost. Emotionally, mentally & physically, I was rock bottom. I crashed and burned.. The only silver lining in this whole situation, is that UP is the only direction left to go. This shit is all I got, if anything can bring me back from the ashes; it’s music, my family & my fans. I don’t need sympathy or pity from anybody, I’m only saying this to let y’all know: I won’t lay down and die.. see you next wednesday

Why do you think so many celebrities who seem to have it all admit to being depressed or unsatisfied?
