Big Sean was missing from the music scene in 2018, and admitted last year that it was because of depression.
The 32-year-old rapper is currently promoting his Detroit 2 album, and recently had an interview on the podcast Jemele Hill is Unbothered.
During that chat, Sean talked about his depression again, saying it almost made him quit music.
"I was going through crazy depression, crazy like anxiety," he explained around the 43:09 mark of the interview. "I felt like broken inside. I for sure was thinking about [quitting rap music]. You know, because I was so frustrated sometimes .... I realized that rapping wasn't necessarily my passion all the way. My passion is to inspire."
Are you surprised to hear that Sean isn't really passionate about rapping?
