It will be a big opening week for Big Sean.

His third solo studio album Dark Sky Paradise will move between 140 and 150k copies, according to Hits Daily Double's projections. That's twice 70 to 75K the Tyga X Chris Brown album Fan of a Fan is projected to do in its first week.

This would be by far the biggest opening week of Big Sean's career, as his first two albums did in the 70 to 90K range.

While it pales in comparison to the 500K plus Drake's If You're Reading, It's Too Late moved last week, Dark Sky Paradise's ranks as the fifth biggest Hip Hop opening of the past 15 months, trailing Drake, J. Cole's 2014 Forest Hills Drive, Nicki Minaj's The Pinkprint and Rick Ross's Mastermind.

Speaking of Drake, the underwhelming numbers Tyga and Brown just posted have to sting even more in the wake  of their favorite adversary's success.
