The exclusive on the Free Weezy Album has probably been the best thing that's happened to TIDAL since Jay Z took it over.

However, it could end up costing Hov big in court.

Birdman is now suing TIDAL for $50 million for streaming FWA, arguing Cash Money has the exclusive rights to all of Lil Wayne's music.

TMZ has seen the lawsuit, and they report it's full of shots at Jay Z and Weezy.

The suit claims the FWA exclusive is TIDAL's "desperate and illegal attempt to save their struggling streaming service." It also said FWA got "tepid reviews."

What makes this all the more fascinating is that yesterday we learned Birdman had been implicated in a plot to kill Lil Wayne. We guess Baby's just trying to keep all of his bases covered when it comes to his former son.
