Blueface stopped by Real 92.3 recently and was asked about his comments regarding rappers coming to L.A. when they visit. He posted this message shortly after Pop Smoke was murdered in the Hollywood Hills.

"People think Cali/LA is beautiful sunny palm trees, n*ggas die here every single day," wrote Blueface on Instagram after Pop Smoke was killed. "I recommend any artist coming this way to get in touch wit the right natives just to keep you up to speed. Soon as you relax an think it's cool this way that's when they strike."

Some took offense to Blueface's comments, namely a Blood from Brooklyn named Corey King

During the interview with Real 92.3, Blueface said that he wasn't telling people to check in with the streets when they come to his town. He was telling them to link up with a regular person instead. [Jump to the 5:00 mark}

"The way they took what I was saying, like, go find your local hood that's affiliated. Honestly, that's the last thing I'm promoting," Blueface explained. "If anything, go find you a regular square that's got maybe a gun license or permit or even a security guard or even a friend of a friend that can pull up and provide you with the utensils that you need to defend yourself."

What do you think about Blueface's advice?
