Bobby Shmurda Says Epic Records Has Turned Their Back On Him

There has been all sorts of chatter concerning Bobby Shmurda's bail status, but the fact remains the 20-year old is still locked up.

One of the rumors was that his label Epic Records had offered to take care of the million dollar bond, but Shmurda didn't accept because he didn't want to be further beholden to them.

Shmurda cleared that up in a recent phone interview with Billboard, telling the magazine that his label hasn't been much of a help at all, and have made no efforts to spring him.

"No, no. They’re not bailing me out. They’re not standing by me that much. Every time I call them, there’s excuses about [parent company] Sony, this and that,” Shmurda told Billboard. "So, nah. It’s more people on the streets that’s standing by me more than them. I haven’t gotten a visit from one of them yet. Nah."

"At first I thought it was love. Now everything is all business," Shmurda said about his label. "I just stopped looking towards them."
