Prison's been tough for Bobby Shmurda, who was recently placed in protective custody and shipped upstate after dodging a knife attack.

He isn't letting that get him down.

In fact, he sounded pretty upbeat on a recent call with Meek Mill and Trav, which Trav posted to his Instagram page.

"I'm getting big, I'm writing everyday," Bobby says when Trav asks him what'd doing.
