In 2020, Dwayne Wade announced that his 12-year-old son Zion had become his 12-year-old daughter Zaya.

It was a transition that made folks like Boosie Badazz very uncomfortable.

But Wade has always seemed prepared and comfortable for his offspring's gender turn.

During his appearance on the I Am Athlete podcast, Wade discussed realizing that Zaya was different and weighing it against his own childhood experience.

"At three years old, like I said, when me and my wife looked at each other, and the reason we looked at each other ... as kids, I used to put on heels.  I used do all those things.  Whatever my sisters wear, whatever my sisters did, I tried to do those things," Wade said.

Do you think most boys with sisters like to play that kind of dress up?
