Baton Rouge rapper Nu$$ie was shot and killed in his hometown in 2009.
Nu$$ie and fellow B.R. rapper Boosie Badazz had beef, and the man who shot Nu$$ie initially told police that he did it because Boosie wanted Nu$$ie dad. (He later recanted that as a motive.)
Fast forward almost a decade, and Boosie still has Nu$$ie on the mind.
In the track 'Get Ya Mind Right', which Boosie released in August, he disses his dead rival, calling him a "pussy."
XXL asked him why he would slander the dead like that, and this is what he said.
"I was just saying how I felt," Boosie said. "Even though he's gone, rest in peace, I still felt like he was a pussy for what he was doing as far as hating on me and what I had going; people taking it the wrong way. When my boy was killed, he's the same rapper who made songs about my boy. We didn't take it any kind of way. I basically said what I said. I don't regret what I said at all. That's how I feel and that's how I feel always. If he was alive or anybody else, I would still say you're a pussy."What do you think about coming for those who are no longer here like Boosie did.
Get Ya Ming Right is going to be on Boosie's project BooPac: The Album, which is coming soon.
