Boosie Badazz Says Prison Never Hurts A Rapper's Career

Some might think that a rapper going to prison at the height of his career would mean it's all over for that artist, but not Boosie Badazz. In fact, he said a rapper going to prison won't hurt that person's career at all. 

"Let's get this right. Prison does not hurt you," Boosie told DJ Akademiks. "The only thing it does, it takes you out the streets for a minute. It might hurt a relationship with a family member or a kid who you're away from.  First of all, if you're a license artist, you gonna get SoundExchange checks anyway, and you can't spend them, so you're money gonna stack up on there. You won't be getting show money, but your demand will go up 10 times when you come home. Your first two, three months doing shows, $100,000, $100,000, $100,000, $100,000. You gonna make it back in two, three months. Meek Mill is going to do the same thing. Bobby Shmurda is going to do the same thing. Boosie did the same thing."
