Boosie Badazz Speaks On Kim Potter Getting Two Year Sentence For Killing Daunte Wright

Former Minneapolis Cop Kim Potter killed 20-year old Daunte Wright during a traffic stop when she confused her handgun for a taser.

She was convicted of first and second-degree manslaughter.  On Friday, she was sentenced to two years in prison for first-degree manslaughter.  (In Minnesota, you are only sentenced on the more severe charge.)

The sentence was below state guidelines.  Judge Regina Chu said the lighter sentence was warranted because the shooting was “in the line of duty and doing her job in attempting to lawfully arrest Daunte Wright,” and because Potter was protecting another officer who would have been seriously injured or killed if Wright drove away during the stop.

Boosie Badazz, who knows something about the criminal justice system, is among those who believe the sentence is too lenient.

"We just go sit here like this Bitch (Kim Potter) ain’t get nothing but 2years for killing this lady child #resentence It’s a racist world we live n smh This world ain’t sh*t," Boosie typed.
