Jay-Z speaks to the younger generation on the album, and one of the things he told them was to stop holding money to their ear on social media.
"You're on the Gram holding money to your ear, there's a disconnect / We don't call that money over here," rapped JAY on the song 'The Story of OJ.'That advice bothered Boosie Badazz, who says he'll continue to hold money to his ear if he wants to, and so will people in the South.
"In Louisiana his words don't fly," said the 'Wipe Me Down' rapper. "I don't know about New York, New Jersey and all these other places but Louisiana and Jackson, Mississippi, that shit don't fly like that, bro. And I'll say that to JAY-Z, I'll say that to anybody,' cause I'm a stand-up type of nigga ... This [is] what they were telling me, 'You shouldn't put a stack to your ear.' JAY-Z don't tell me what to do. In Louisiana, it's just like a trend. JAY-Z is a powerful person. He stopped Auto Tune. He stopped all kind of shit. He won't stop what's born and bred in people hearts in Louisiana."Why do you think Boosie seems so offended by JAY's words?
