Back in April, Cardi B said her new album will be dropping this year

The announcement caused major excitement among Bardi's fans, because her debut album Invasion Of Privacy was released six years ago.

But the new album won't be arriving this year after all, according to the Bronx rapper herself.

"I’ve been feeling so emotional lately, because I know next year is going to be my f*cking year," said Cardi on Instagram Live. "This has been the most weirdest year I have ever experienced. I don’t know what the f*ck happened this year. I can’t even tell you ... I don’t know what the f*ck is going on."

"I’m going through a very different transition in my f*cking life, and life is moving a little bit too fast. I don’t want to crash," she further explained. "I have to get my sh*t together ... Next year my album will be out, my secret businesses will be out. I can’t tell you what I’m working on. Hopefully next year I get me a little boyfriend; I’m hoe-less right now. I gotta get my sh*t together."

Below are some of the reactions to Cardi's announcement. Are you upset that her sophomore album won't be arriving this year?
