Producer Brandon Lee is suing Lil Nas X and Cardi B for swiping his music and making it into their track "Rodeo."
According to Lee, he wrote the song "gwenXdonlee4-142" which was, with his permission, interpolated into a track called 'Broad Day", which got a lot of play in the Atlanta area.
He argues "Rodeo" and "Broad Day" have similarities in chord progression, instrumentation, and tempo.
He's also suing Sony Music Entertainment, Columbia Records and Cardi's former manager, Klenord Raphael.
You can check out both songs below.
