Carl Crawford Says He's Not Sure Why His Relationship With Megan Thee Stallion Went Left

Things seemed to be going smoothly between Megan Thee Stallion and Carl Crawford, the owner of 1501 Certified Entertainment, until 2019.

That was the year the "Hot Girl Summer" rapper signed a management deal with Jay-Z's company Roc Nation, which Crawford said he knew nothing about until it was announced publicly. Crawford signed Megan to the label in 2018.

At one point, Megan claimed that Crawford wouldn't release any of her music and their dispute went to court. 

Then earlier this month, Crawford said he was still fighting the whole thing and accused the court system of trying to drain him.

But according to what the former major league baseball player recently told Bally Sports, he hopes things will soon be resolved and is confused how things got so bad with Megan.

"All of it is cool ... but it would have been cooler if we was all like getting along still," he stated. "Things just, you know, always went left and we still don't have a real reason why things went left. Everything is cool with her. I still wish her the best and we just gon' keep pushing our thing at 1501."
