There were reports earlier this week that SoundCloud didn't have enough cash to last the year -- even after laying off 40 percent of its staff.
Chance The Rapper, who's a big advocate for the free model of music release, jumped on Twitter yesterday and claimed he had a plan for rescuing the streaming service.

Now, in a similarly vague tweet, Chance has taken responsibility for saving SoundCloud.

Alex Ljung is SoundCloud's CEO. Did Chance get things back on track with a pep talk, or did he (and some of his rich friends) open up their checkbooks?
