It looked like Chance The Rapper was going to be the next big rapper.

Then he fell off.

The moment he fell off, the haters will say, was in 2019 when he dropped The Big Day, his debut album after many successful mixtapes.

While the professional critics liked it, the Twitter critics didn't and sales were softer than expected.  We haven't got much from Chance since. He addressed falling off on The Breakfast Club.

“To me, I can do one of two things: I can either agree with it or I can live my life. If I agree with it, then that means The Breakfast Club fell off, ’cause y’all don’t have people that fell off sitting in your chair usually," Chance said.

“So I’m like, ‘I could listen to people that think about artists like they’re fucking Pokémon cards, like these commodified trading cards that’s like, ‘Oh, you’re fucking 2K rating just went down.’ F*ck them n*ggas. These n*ggas is lame as hell, they’ve never been on. If I fell off, at least I was on.”

Chance will likely release his Star Line Gallery album later this year.

Do you think that gets him back on?
