Fellow Chicago artists Chance The Rapper and Kanye West have been friends for quite some time.
Ye was definitely an idol of Chance's before they met, and he's influenced the 26-year-old's music. The sound similarities between Ye's debut album College Dropout and Chance's mixtape Coloring Book serves as proof.
The two were also supposed to do a collaboration album together titled Good Ass Job but it never happened.
Chance recently spoke with NBC news about his relationship with Kanye and he said it was preordained.

“I think iron sharpens iron,” he said. “We’re both imperfect people and I’m able to call him out on things I don’t necessarily agree with. He’s called me out on things he doesn’t agree with. I do fully believe, now more than ever, that we were paired together by God and that we’re supposed to be in each other’s corner."
What do you think about Chance's comments?
