Chance The Rapper said the collaborative album that he's been working on with Kanye West has been shelved for now.
"As the attention started to grow around it, it kinda made me realize that Good Ass Job was more of a later thing, that he's still working on himself and Yandhi," he told Joe Budden.
Chance also admitted that he doesn't really like any Kanye albums after his sophomore effort Late Registration. In particular, the Coloring Book spitter said he feels a certain way about Kanye's 2018 album Ye because he contributed ideas for verses and none of them were used.
"I have a weird understanding of Ye because I stayed there for two weeks and when I left nothing I put forth for the album [made the final cut]. Verses and stuff weren't on there. I have a weird relationship [with the album] because that came out of nowhere."
Just a few days ago, Chano also explained why he didn’t respond to Drake’s dig on the 2014 “Draft Day.” And he sent a shot at Michael Jordan before that, which was right around the time Nike started running its ad campaign with Colin Kaepernick.
