Kyrie Irving has been in his feelings lately.

"I didn’t really come into this game for there to be cameras in my face, be famous, be a celebrity, so it’s a little hard for me. I wanted those things when I was younger but at this point in my career, I just want to play basketball at a very, very high level," he said earlier this week

Of course, everyone quickly clowned on the Boston Celtics point guard for claiming he just wanted to be a basketball player -- and not a famous celebrity -- when less than a year ago he was starring as Uncle Drew in a big-budget Hollywood film.

Charles Barkley, who knows something about being a baller and a celebrity, weighed in on Kyrie during an appearance on ESPN, calling him "one of the most miserable people I’ve ever seen."

“And let me tell you something else: Kyrie Irving — I don’t know him that well, he seems like a good kid — but I’ve never seen a person so miserable. To have so much success, to have the world in the palm of his hand, he’s gonna make $40-50 million dollars a year for the next 10-15 years. He’s already won a world championship, he’s in movies. But he’s got to be one of the most miserable people I’ve ever seen," Sir Charles said.

“He wanted to go to Boston because he wanted to have his own team. And what a lot of these guys don’t understand is, when you’re a star — and I’ve been a star — you get all the credit, but all the blame. That ain’t right, that ain’t fair — but that’s just how it is."

Kyrie did seem a little happier after the Celtics surprising blowout win in Golden State last night.
