The Gorillaz's first album in seven years, Humanz, is headed for a strong opening.

Hits Daily Double predicts the Pusha T, Vince Staples, De La Soul and Danny Brown featured project will do about 100K first week sales plus streaming.

The news wasn't nearly as good for Wale. His fifth album SHINE is only projected to move 18-22K SPS in its opening frame.

That's a big dip from his 2015 project The Album About Nothing, which had a 100,245 unite first week.

Wale bumped SHINE up a week at the last minute, and we wouldn't be surprised if its numbers get revised upward as this week progresses.

Still, the figures would have to come up a lot for it to meet the standards Wale is used to.

In other chart news, Mary J. Blige's 13th album Strength of a Woman should finish with about 70K in its first week.

Have you heard any good albums lately?
