For the first time since his 2012 smash hit The Heist, Macklemore has dropped an album without his producer pal Ryan Lewis.
According to Hits Daily Double, Gemini did 47,887 sales plus streaming in its first week. That lands it second on the album chart to The Killers' new album Wonderful Wonderful (114,718 SPS).
Gemini's numbers are down from the 61K the Macklemore +Lewis project This Unruly Mess I've Made grabbed first week in February of 2016.
Following Mack on this week's chart is Lil Uzi Vert's Luv Is Rage 2 (40,784), the debut of Kevin Gates' commercial mixtape By Any Means 2 (40,650), the debut of Jhene Aiko's album Trip (36,648) and Kendrick Lamar's long-running hit DAMN. (33,921.)
