Chris Brown tried his best to get his fans to game the system and propel his album to the top of the chart.
It looks like that's not going to work.
Hits Daily Double is reporting that Brown's 45 track album Heartbreak On A Full Moon will do 40-45K sales plus streaming in its first week with 20-24K in traditional sales. That would be the lowest opening of Brown's career and nowhere near the top spot on the Billboard 200.
Now that is for short week, since Heartbreak dropped on Tuesday. However, the majority of first week sales do come in the weeks first few days.
The surprise 21 Savage, Offset and Metro Boomin album Without Warning also dropped on Halloween. It too will do 40-45K SPS with 8-10K traditional.
What did you think of the albums?
