Chief Keef On The Curriculum At Chicago Elementary School Has Parents Outraged

Parents at Fiske Elementary School on Chicago's Southside don't think Chief Keef is for the children.

In fact, they are outraged that a music teacher gave sixth grade students a class lesson and then a quiz on Sosa. Here are some of the questions:

Where was he placed on house arrest? Who shot Chief Keef when he was 16? What Kanye West song was Chief Keef featured on? At what age did he stop attending school? What was Chief Keef debut album? What year was 'Bang' release?

"I had never heard of him. But after careful research I found out that his music is about having sex, using the 'B' word, anti-police and supporting gangs,' parent Katrina Sanders said.

A school district spokeswoman explained that the school's principal had no idea that Keef had been made a subject matter, and took immediate action when she found out.

"This inappropriate project was immediately suspended by the principal as soon as she learned about it. While teachers have flexibility in making assignments, CPS requires them to provide age-appropriate material in the classroom," spokeswoman Emily Bittner said.

Keef currently lives in California and is unable to return to his hometown of Chicago because of outstanding warrants against him.

Update: It looks like Fetty Wap, Chris Brown and Tyga were also on the curriculum.
