The comedy world is still trying to process the surprise death of Charlie Murphy.

Chris Rock was one of the first people to pay tribute to Murphy when he passed away from leukemia, calling him "one of the funniest most real brothers of all time."

That photo of Murphy is from the 1993 rap comedy CB4, which Rock wrote and starred in. Last night on Instagram Rock revealed that Murphy got the role of Gusto by bringing a real gun to his audition:

At the audition for CB4 he pulled out a real gun ...he got the part ! So sad. RIP Charlie . AKA Gusto.

Cam'ron certainly approves of the that audition technique.
