Ciara took off her pants to promote her album Beauty Marks.
It didn't work. Billboard has it opening in 87th place. They don't provide exact sales numbers for albums that low on the chart, but it's doubtful she moved more than a few thousand units.
Her last album,2015's Jackie, did a modest-for-a-major-label-recording-artist 25K in its first week.

In better Ciara news, she did get into Harvard Business School's Executive program.
