Deyjah Harris Finally Speaks Candidly on Her Dad T.I. And Hymen-gate

Last year, T.I. was dragged over the Internet for his admission that he still takes his 18-year old daughter Deyjah on annual hymen check-ups to prove she's still a virgin.

At the time, Deyjah responded by unfollowing Tip on social and liking tweets that criticized his aggressive and unscientific parenting.

She gave her most candid comments on Hymen-Gate last night during an episode of  T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle.

The only word I saw was gynecologist. I didn’t even need to read the whole title cause I just knew. My heart sank." _________________________________________________ She said she was,"very shocked, hurt, angry & embarrassed." _________________________________________________ Deyjah also confirmed to her cousins that TIP does go with her to gynecologist. _________________________________________________ "Definitely been going on since probably 14 or 15." _________________________________________________ She continued, "It’s not like I could’ve said no. I couldn’t have said no."

"I'm scrolling on Twitter and I see I'm tagged in a post and all I see is 'gynecologist,' and I didn't even need to read the whole title. I just knew. My heart sank. I'm very shocked, hurt, angry, embarrassed," Deyjah said. "I'm embarrassed, for sure. I'm trying to put it in the back of my mind so I'm not really thinking about it. I know it's not healthy. But I've been doing that since I was a child."

Deyjah confirmed that her dad has been accompanying her on her trips to the gyno since she was 14, and that she felt like she couldn't say no to him.  While she doesn't say it makes a "bad parent," she concedes that she "looks at him differently" because he insisted on coming along to confirm she's still pure.

For Tip's part, he said everything is getting blown out of proportion.

"I told a joke that was laced in truth, also [with] a lot of major embellishments," Tip said during his confessional interview. "I was speaking past tense. People thought I was speaking present day. I never put a sign on the door—that's absolutely false."
