Did Billboard Accelerate Bundle Rule Change Just To Screw Tekashi 6ix9ine?

Tekashi 6ix9ine has accused Billboard of being out to get him.

He may have a point.

This week, the first-week projections for his post-prison album TattleTales has been downgraded from 150K to 50K to 40K, delighting 6ix9ine's many well-earned haters.

The reason for the dip is that Billboard will reject about 100,000 of 6ix9ine's merch bundles even though -- as 6ix9ine's buddy DJ Akademiks points out -- their new rule on bundles wasn't set to go into effect until this week.

About 100k album bundles for 69 didn’t get counted despite the deadline when billboard changes would go in effect is still a month out. Thoughts?

It would seem like Billboard may have moved the change up a week to screw 6ix9ine.

Now that the new rule is in place a lot of your favorite artists are about to post much smaller numbers.
