Diddy Suggests New NCAA Agent Rule is Racist

Diddy gave his opinion on the new rules the NCAA put out this week for agents looking to rep college students going to the NBA.

Agents will now have to have a college degree and take a background test. They'll also have to be in the National Basketball Players Association for at least three years and take an exam.

Some players have called the guidelines "The Rich Paul Rule" because the very successful Rich Paul, who reps LeBron James and others, doesn't have a degree.

Fox Sports 1 analyst Chris Broussard called the rules racist in a video earlier this week and encouraged high school players to attend a historically black college or university. Diddy then co-signed the message.

What do you think about the new rules?

“The “Rich Paul Rule” is racist. So what are Black people, particularly athletes, going to do about it? Here’s a suggestion. And for the record, I didn’t go to an HBCU but my parents, brother, many other family members and many colleagues did. Already an integral part of Black empowerment, HBCUs could become MUCH stronger!” 🔁 @chrisbroussard68 #ncaa #hbcu #blackathletes
