DJ Khaled has weighed in on the news that Jay-Z has "significant ownership interest" in an NFL team.
The announcement came last week after it was revealed that Jigga partnered with the NFL to help with the league's entertainment and social justice campaigns. Colin Kaepernick, the Carolina Panthers Eric Reid and Kap's girlfriend Nessa have criticized Jay for the move. But Khaled had nothing but praise for the Reasonable Doubt rapper.
"Shout out to Jay-Z and everything he's doing," said Khaled during a TMZ interview. "Always uplifting the people and always moving the culture forward."
Freddie Gibbs also supported Jay's move and said he's riding with him instead of Kap.
Do you think Jay teaming with the NFL is a good or bad thing?
