It's been one day since DMX passed away from a drug overdose, but his memorial is already in motion.
According to TMZ, DMX's family is planning both a private and public memorial, and the city of Yonkers wants to help out.
Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano said that he wants to offer the Yonkers Raceway, which is the largest outdoor venue in the city, to hold X's memorial.
The Yonkers Raceway has a capacity of 7,500, but because of Covid-19, it's limited to 20% of that number.
On top of his memorial, Yonkers is considering building a statue or naming a street after him.
Rest in peace, DMX.
