Despite DMX still being on life support, last night RIPDMX was trending on Twitter. Plus, earlier this week, TV host Claudia Jordan wrote, "Rest in Paradise DMX," which she later apologized for.
So X's friend and manager Steve Rifkind released a video to address the false reports, and he told everyone to calm down.
"Please stop with posting with the rumors. DMX is still alive," said Rifkind. "Yes, he is on life support but please, it's not helping anybody by seeing these false rumors. Let the family relax for a night. You'll be hearing a statement from the family sometime tomorrow. I've been with DMX for the past three years so the only thing I ask is stop with the rumors, he is still alive, and he is on life support. Thank you."
As for Luenell, she apologized for saying X has already died but gave a reason why she did it.
Luenell, who originally posted an Instagram story that made the public believe DMX had passed away, has now deleted the post and corrected herself.

To every media outlet out there — please be cautious. This is somebody’s life we’re talking about, not simple gossip. pic.twitter.com/zxfal05Unp
"When your spirit leaves and your organ fails you, the body becomes just a shell. One becomes wrapped in the Lord's arms. That's what 'I' call gone. I'm sorry to all," she wrote.
What do you think about Luenell's explanation?
