Jamal Crawford really got 50 Cent going when he said it was JAY-Z over Eminem in terms of impact on the culture, with Fif, of course, defending his White Boy.
During a chat with Rory and Mal, Don Cannon also gave Eminem the edge -- but acknowledged it's really close.
"My first time traveling to Japan and Africa, I will say that Eminem is in more places around the world than I have seen JAY-Z. I've gone to record stores across the countries. I see Eminem and Ludacris everywhere. Eminem impact across the world. The most recognizable faces around the world are MJ, Snoop, Eminem, Elvis. And those are the type of things that have my thinking worldwide, maybe, in Hip Hop, he may have the most influence ... I was kinda of upset when I went to places like Johannesburg [South Africa] and they didn't have JAY-Z."
Cannon did also mention the huge cultural impact that Hov has had domestically, and, as such, you could argue it's pretty even.
